Anybody paddled one of these?

I have heard rumor of a big boi size for 08...

Whats your opinion of them as a company?

THanks

Laddie

yeah, they are the most squirrely boats out there at first, In big water I had a lot of trouble controlling it at first ( but I was paddling the first one off the mold, so it didn't have any outfitting), but once you got used to it it felt pretty normal. On a wave, it went off, though. It was going bigger than any of the other boats I had paddled on garb, and it took a few times but once I caught the wave, it was like I didn't even have to try to get air. Without edging very hard, or really trying too hard at all, I threw a huge pan-am. It goes so big it is ridiculous. That being said, It would definitelyt not make a good river runner at all, and as far as tha company goes, itt's all personal preference. It may not be a super popular brand, but look at anthony Yapp. He helped design the specialist, which is probably why they throw down so hard, but I would not buy one without trying it first.

One of the local boaters here in Wi is taking on the \"agent\" program. I actually have a Rad195 in my car to demo as we speak...I must admit that the personal touch they are doing with selling boats is a big positive for me.

I have been told that there will be a \"large\" size specialist in the future... Something I am giving serious consideration if they go ahead soon

Max weight for the 5'9 is about 140-150. It is comp. in size to the RAD175. We are coming out with a bigger 6'0 soon which should match the weight limit of the RAD185.

Hope this helps and thanks for the interest!
