31 years after the original design was used by Mike Jones' team to make the first descent of Everests river the Dudh Kosi, it's fitting we reincarnate the classic Everest name for a new breed of expedition WW kayak for 2008. Based on the phenomenal Burn design, this is the load carrying expedition kayak that will fit the big boys too!

If you're happy, you're successful.

Well before You buy a boat you must DEMO DEMO DEMO

Here are my suggestion

Pyrahna Everest
Jackson Mega Rocker
LL Jefe Grande
Dagger Nomad 8.5
Wavesport Deisel 75
Wavesport Burn

Hey, you would also fit well in the Bliss-Stick Mystic or MAC1. I also agree that you must always demo before you buy!

Good luck

Think you're big, huh?

I'm 6'11" and paddle the Everest, minus footplate and hip pads.
Did plenty of research in my quest to find a craft and can recommend any of the following for someone of your stature.

I also tried the Liquidlogic Jefe Grande and the Remix 79. The Wave Sport Habitat 80 might have been ok, but I couldn't get the pillar out in order to remove the footrest.

I would have loved the Jackson Kayak Super Fun but twas a bit too tight on me toes. Maybe I'll chop 'em off next time I need a new boat.

Demo!

I own said craft, the Everest; I find that its is a very nice boat. I got mine from CKS for $1,250.00 (crappy dollar) but it is worth every penny in my opinion.

Find someone or a shop willing to let you try it out first though.
