Most compact Tsunami; smaller cockpit and slimmer depth favor smaller paddlers.

Wilderness Systems Tsunami 120 17 years 5 months ago #31217

Hello , i m thinking of doing a charity run ,first i m going on holiday to the Summer Isles, in the North West of Scotland, and am thinking of paddling back to Blackpool /Cleveleys, for charity,The only sized kayak i can buy for the job is 12 foot, so it kind of limits things a little, ive narrowed the choice down to a tsunami 12 by wilderness systems, it seems to get a good write up, has anyone got anything good to say about this short tourer, would be interested to hear thanks ,Tom:|

I agree with Kayaksa, the Tsunami is a great boat. I think if you are not really small, the 125 would be a better bet though. See about a rudder system, as it does not track as straight as the 14 and 16 in wind and chop. I have paddled all three and think very highly of them, but I'm not sure I would run ClassIII in one of them because of the rear keel. I'm sure they would hold up well though as they are very tough boats. Good luck and have fun.
