Brudden Kayaks Twist Review 17 years 4 months ago #31059

I am going to Brazil for a month and was wondering if anyone has used the Brudden Twist for any period of time. I go to Brazil about twice a year so I am planning on leaving it there. I paddle an Rx as my #1 boat in the US. I have an old Dagger ID that I was thinking about bringing down with me but it may be more expensive to ship on the plane. Does anyone have thoughts on the Twist v. the ID other than just shipping costs? I love how the ID paddles but I have always had problems with my feet falling asleep.

Thanks,

Rojo

they are very very different boats. you'll be fine in the twist as long as you don't want to do all the latest aerial moves or win freestyle competitions. it's a pretty good and versatile boat, especially for its price. see the playak review above for my detailed inpressions. i think you'll have a hard time finding more opinions from english speaking paddlers, as the boat is hardly being sold outside brazil...

if you buy it, make sure you have the thick plastic version, as the thin one is really quite thin...

Jeroen,

Thanks for the reply. I must say I love the email updates and the website - Keep up the good work. Your point about the language is well taken. I will repost in Portugese.

Thanks - rojo
