The Angler package comes fully rigged with the Scotty rod holder, flush mount rod holders, and a built-in SlideTrax anchor trolley.

Trying to find a kayak for fishing. We live on Vancouver Island, BC so lots of lakes, tidal areas, ect plus HUGE numbers of folks who yak everything from SOT fishing to long leg touring. One of the things that really gets my attention is the bracket for a trolling motor on the stern. While looking at one in a dealership that was rigged for the rudder, I thought, you know, weld a short cross piece on the shaft of a trolling motor, connect the cables for the rudder, hook up an on/off switch by the seat and wallah, you only have to hook the fish!
Anyone else tried this? Would appreciate any input and/or anyone at Wilderness willing to hook me up with a demo to try it on.

Personally, I would go for a Native Watercraft boat over that, because you can use a motor as well but the seat is way nicer. It's like a lawn chair. They also have pedal drive ones available, and plenty of accessories. Look around their site at www.nativewatercraft.com/
