What a very weak and opinionated write up of this course, you must also be as good at kayaking as your writing skill, there is pleanty of deep spots for cartwheeling , and all the other tricks that a cpmpetent play boater can handle. Upstream there is a water treatment plant, I wont say its the cleanest water but its not sticky as you stated. its pre-madonna`s like yourself that really shouldnt attempt to boat there or anywhere, i would say you shouldnt ever boat on the zambizi or the nile because your cupcake ass will melt. I have been boating there since 95 with several buddies and its a perfect training course for us local paddlers who cannot get up into the mountains on certain weekends. I have also worked with the colorado river heritage society for over 20 years to clean up the river. It was both an idustrial and mined river so with that, its had its fair share of contamination, but that hasnt gone on for decades. There have been some reported leaks upstream, but not on any scale that the water wasnt safe. Please show us a report or direct us to authorities who can back your claim, Im calling u out as a bullshitter...with false claims.. Prove it..

Its your kind of bantor that affects our local shop- Confluence kayaks... and our local business`s who depend on tourism. We love those business and people, and your affecting them.

Did you get hepatitus here, are you a qualified medical doctor to state the river has hepatitus waves? I bet you arent even a competent slider flipper... or kayaker much less

Its sad when writeups like yours are believed because you spent 2 minutes doing a negative write up, and it affects us who love it and want to make it better. We also do an annual river clean up there for earthday, so maybe u should just come and help the clean up rather than doing your crappy write up that have no merit. pick up a trash bag and let go of your trashy words...
