I love this boat. Any big guy that hasnt tryed it out is missing somthing HUGE. I mean huge littleraly because this boat is a monster. I cant wait for the new boat to come out!

understand that the new super fun will be 70 gallons... that is big...
How might that be to 'throw around'? Can't see myself progressing on the cartwheels to fast in that...
That said, the current Super Fun is a great boat (once you lose the back band and retrofit something proper... IMHO)...

He's got good plastic too, somehow lighter, yet more scratch resistant is seems to me (talking of current fun series boats anyway)

Anybody had a ride in a NEW Fun yet?

I does seem lighter. My friend just came back from new zealand and she said that 4 or 5 of the funs they had in rentals broke in the first year. They wouldn't go back to jackson. There Necky and Dagger boats have held up for many years.

I know that Jackson is saying that out of 8000 boats thay had 8 boats returned broken. 0 broken boats is better but those are good numbers. My local dealer is almos totaly sold out of Jackson boats, I think he has 3 boats left untill the 07's arive. When I asked how is it dealing with Jackson when you need something, He said we don't know we haven't had eney problems.
The last few months Ï have padeled my All Star 5 days a week getting redy for wight water sezon with no problems. On the river it's easy to padel, fast and no problem throwing it vertical. I don't have eney conection with EJ or Jackson I'm just glad I did my home work and verey impresed with the All Star.

Jackson uses cross linked plastic which is stonger (scrach resestant) and lighter couse they dont have to use as much of it per boat for same stnigth or more. I have a 2fun wich is a great boat i have tryed other boats but i think that the 2fun is my fravorite. I am hoping to get a new 07 allstar when they come out this winter :) The project is a pritty sweet boat too. I broke the happy feet pump and emailed jackson, they sent me an email back 2 hours later asking my adress so they could send me a new one free. Pritty cool considering it was not on the warnty. :)

It is funny that you say that. Since my last post a friend is staying with me who is sponsored by jackson. He was in the factory a few weeks ago when the plastic supplier came in and was told that all the NEW Funs are the same plastics as all other boats. Essentially he said that most boats are made of the same plastic and the companies just give it a fancy name. Cross link is an exception.

Jackson have started to use linear plastic (same as everybody else) on some of the boats, but at the same time their price went down on those boats.

But they do use cross-linked on most of the boats, but then they have a higher price.
