Unfortunately not all companies collect/deliver large packages such as kayaks. I know Mega has some serious problems with carriers and only TNT is willing to collect. Too bad TNT also is a very lousy carrier (they've managed to wreck 3 of 6 boats I had delivered and damaged the packaging on the other three. Two sets of paddle shafts were also damaged but fortunately they were way too long anyway so I cut off the damaged part) :bitching:

It obviously depends on where the boat has to go but it's probably just as expensive to meet halfway or get some people you know and trust and take the boat with them to a paddling competition or something.

City link or NIght freight will take boats but you may need to have an account with them??? look up in your phone book and give them a call

or try and meet the person 1/2 way and offer them petrol money or if there going to hpp tryweryn etc why not meet up there and ppick up your boat at the same time?
