Theres a huge thread on ukrivers guidebook, I do now that there is an olympic standard course being built in Cardiff Bay before 2012 which will have it owns water supply and will be fully changable I cant wait as its going to be 10 mins from my house yay :dance: :roflol: :dance:

As far as I know, it will be built at Broxbourne on site between the railway station and the river - currently a gravel pit. Nothing to see at present. I got in contact with the local council a few months ago after seeing a magazine article about the impact of the olympics in Hertfordshire that failed to mention it.

i also cant wait until the white water course is built in cardiff bay, i know where i will be going straight after work lol, im only 15 mins away from where the centre is going to be built

well acording to richard harvey (acting WCA Chairman) (goes to the same club as me) the work is supposed to be started next year, the wca and bcu are supposed to be coming up with some plans for the two possible sites

hi they,ve started work on the cardiff bay ww course and its supposed to be finished in 2009/2010
