Hallo,

aus traurigem Anlass hier die Warnung vor einem Siphon auf der Melezza unterhalb Re unter den beiden Brücken(Auto und Eisenbahn).

Haupströmung zieht voll drauf.

Evtl. kann jemand bei einer Befahrung demnächst ne Sprühdose mitnehmen und da n Totenkopf draufmalen oder ähnliches.

from sad occasion here the warning of a siphon on the Melezza below Re under the two bridges (car and railway).
Main current pulls it fully.

A 19 year old kayaker has been pulled into the syphon and drowned. His body has been recovered the next day. The danger was not visible at that time. Just a few seconds before a friend of him was pushed sideways against the rock without problems. Maybe he was just a few centimetres more left or more rigth and had to die. He was the fourth of the group so no one can say what exactly has happened. The fatal rock lies in the mainline.
