If you are like me and like having edges for carving in and out of eddies, making tight turns in the thick of things and playing here and there then the Detox is your beast. I would choose the Detox over the Solo as my creek boat because of the edges and the control that it gives me, just remember that the edges also make it a wee bit less forgiving than the rounded hull and sides of the Solo.
The choice is yours, test both and go with what feels best for you.

About Me
paddling since 1995. Currently I live on teh Blyde River and work as opperations manager for an adventure camp. On weekends I am either instructing novice kayakers on one of our various clinics or just spending time with the wife and friends on the water. I am not sponsored by Fluid but I do know the Fluid familia very well and test some of their toys every once in a while.
Pros / The Good
High volume, flat hull, edges good deck shape for resurfacing and lotsa speed.
I have always been a supporter of flatbottom boats, mainly becuase I like freestyle paddling and the performance that one gets from hard edges.

Cons / The Bad
This is in my opinion not a con as I like the design, but, becuase the hull is flat if you land of a big drop and you land flat there is a bigger impact compared to landing in a Solo that has a round displacement hull.
