long time boater review

I have been paddling ww for a long time. (15 years) and tried many boats over the years.

I bought my booster in chrismas of 2002 and been paddling it for 3 years on class 3-4 runs.

The Booster is the best boat I have owned so far. It is very responsive, and fast. it will run the most complex line, and be very predictable. Easer to roll that most old boats (Piroute, Sparc and 'X')

The Booster also play's very well, surfs the waves most boats cant even catch because its so fast. Squirts nicely, but difficult to do flatwater cartwheels, but easly acomplished in holes. and outfitting is very comfiy but i do recomed replacing the backband with the bommer backband in the 2004 model

if you know me I am just not happy if I'm not Gripping about something. so here is the down side. Its fast, to fast. this boat will have you carving like mad just so stay on the wave, If you stop the front deck gets buried quick. when going through foamy stucky holes the boat fall deeply into the hole and doesn't resurface as fast as other boats I have paddles. and tending to make you play your way out. (unless you go into the hole on an edge which make the landing very unstable.) but I have to say at just under 200lbs I am pushing the limit of this boat and is where most of my problems are

In Conclusion, This is the best boat for beginner, and intermediate paddler. and definately a great buy for paddler wt of 120-180. wanting to run rivers with moderate play
