The Doppler is probably the most thought out all-around board on the market today. It’s no easy task to create a board that excels on flatwater, for touring on lakes, rivers and open ocean paddling, but is still fun and easy to surf. Not only have we done it, but with flying colours! The Doppler is a dream to paddle. It glides effortlessly, leaving traditional general purpose boards lagging far behind. Maintaining a high degree of stability, and with almost no deck wash, you can paddle this board in cold or warm water with confidence. And if a spin in the surf should tickle your fancy, you can be sure that this amazing board will not hold you back.

It’s easy to make a big board, but it’s a lot harder to make one that’s exciting, user-friendly and performing.

The Mach 1 stands alone in a field of surfing SUP shapes. This is the first production board to truly offer shortboard style performance in a stand up. The outline and rocker work closely with the deck crown to give this board rail to rail responsiveness that is smooth and fluid. But what is going to blow your mind is the dive and looseness that this board has. The speed generated in each turn is nothing short of startling, and this sensation is surpassed only by the boards looseness. The Easy Rider 11.6 is 11’6” in length and 32” in width. Constructed using Blu Wave’s soft-tech construction, the Easy Rider is an entry level SUP Board designed for everyone in the family to enjoy and get started with stand-up paddleboarding. Extremely stable, the Easy Rider is also ideal for fitness/yoga enthusiasts, instructional programs, rental fleets and resorts. Designed with durability in mind, our Soft-tech construction utilizes materials to extend the life of the board for individual owners or those using the Big Easy for rental or instruction. Our ultra tough EVA rails and nose bumpers, provide essential protection and durability where it is needed most. Under the soft exterior, the construction is consistent with our other models, with EPS foam core and epoxy fiberglass construction. Our vacuum bagging process ensures proper bonding and strengthening of the sandwich construction. Dual stringers further enhance the strength of the board.

The Carbon Race 12.6 and 14.0 are made for speed – pure and simple. Constructed with a full carbon fibre outer skin, the Carbon Race is a high performance speed machine. The displacement style hull is six inches deep at the nose, and designed to displace water around the V nose and channel water under the boards flat mid section and slight V tail bottom. Slightly rounded rails at the front transition to hard corner rails in the back and tail of the board, which release water and provide minimal resistance. The standing platform is recessed providing the optimal paddling position and stability. The striking carbon fibre outer skin combined with Blu Wave’s signature racing stripe, gives this board the look of a champion. Races will be won, stars will be born. Spring 2012.

The Fast Woody 12.6 is hand shaped with a displacement style hull, a full 6 inches in width at the nose and measuring 12’6” in length. Designed to cut through small waves, chop or through glassy waters, the Fast Woody is built for open water touring and longer distance training. The bamboo deck is fitted with a bungee system to secure your supplies for your day out on the water, or a drybag with equipment for an overnight adventure. The standing platform is recessed, bringing the paddler closer to the water, for more efficient paddling. 29 inches at its widest point, the Fast Woody 12.6 tracks incredibly straight and glides through the water effortlessly.

The Big Woody 12.0 is a 12 foot long by 32 inch wide board also designed in a classic surf shape, and made for beginner and experienced paddle boarders alike. A great board for flat water paddling, The Big Woody is also a capable wave rider, with a progressive rocker at nose and tail. At 5 inches deep at its widest point, the Big Woody can handle paddlers well over 200 lbs. and at 28 lbs. the board is light enough for anyone to transport with ease, and provides a superior paddling experience. Its length and width provide a stable platform for a beginner paddler.

After making a sub-seven-foot solo play boat (the Ion), the next (il)logical step was to stretch it out to make room for two.

The Octane 91 packs a lot of boat into a short package. Designed as a tandem, outfitted as a solo, the Octane 91 has proven to be an an amazingly dry, stable, and nimble ride for larger paddlers. Like all Blackfly boats, it comes fully outfitted, ready to put in the river.

The Option is an all out river-runner and creek boat.

The Ion is the product of an alternate universe; one where there exist as many variations of whitewater canoes as kayaks.

"Comp" could mean "composite.

The Saar is a smaller tandem tourer designed for day and weekend trips. It combines the light weight of a smaller boat with a narrow beam that allows for quick and efficient paddling without sacrificing stability. We've included plenty of features that'll make it capable of handling a few days of touring.
