Good, basic, club boat
About the reviewer Used to use this boat when i first started kayaking, then i bought my own boat and moved on from the basic club boats. Test environment River Thames in most conditions Review Good river boat for people just starting out kayaking. Great boat for clubs but i wouldnt reccommend one to someone who was looking to go further than 1* certifcate as it is a very basic boat. Conclusion Good starter boat, but when you get more advanced, you will want to look for something a bit more designed for what you want to do.

Great All-Round RiverRunner
About the reviewer I am a student at the moment, and try to fit in as much kayaking as i can in my spare time. Hope to get my 3* next season (2009) and perhaps further from there. Test environment I have taken this boat on the river in various conditions and done some playing in weirs etc. Review I really like this boat overall. I have had it nearly a year now and i feel that it is a very good boat for the larger paddler like myself. Very comfortable in whitewater spec. with the ratchet back-rest and slightly more comfortable seat than standard. I paid £599 for this boat at WhitewaterTheCanoeCentre In Shepperton, Middlesex, England, which i think is a very good shop for all your kayaking needs. This boat will glide quite quickly through the water as it is a long boat (just fits in a Ford Galaxy!) at 270cm. Definitely a wise choice for someone my size and is a lot more affordable than some that i have seen (nearly £900). Conclusion Great boat that is very comfortable and stable on rivers. A good value boat for all uses.
