Aug 25 2019Eric Jackson This kid turned 11 today! KC Jackson- born 8-25-2008.. I was on the wave in Thun, Switzerland for the World Cup Final while Kristine was giving birth to him in Nashville. Today I am in OKC for Paddlesports Retailer, while he is in Canada with Kristine In way to see Angry Birds 2, his birthday request. We will be reunited again in a week and we will do an overnight kayak trip together for a late birthday celebration. Love you KC! Happy Birthday!

Aug 16 2019Eric Jackson I had people asking what kind of fishing I was doing on Lake Ouachita to catch such big bass. (98.25' for 5 fish). This lake in August is known for being super tough.. FLW Cup was won with only 36 pounds for 15 fish (2 pounds/fish). How was I catching 20 pounds? Watch me use two paddles to 'pole' up a creek until I got to the REALLY shallow stuff.. that is where the magic happens.. He has mostly recreational kayaks and SUP, but I found this 2012 Rock Star on a rack.. had to play with it! Pogo flips off of his dock.. what you don't see is straight in front of me is the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier and museum! Jessie Stone, Racheal and Julia Rickert (Emily's childhood friends from Brookmont- MD) Paula, Dave from CT, Kristine, KC, Parker, Tucker, Nick and Jeff were all there for an awesome cookout on the pier!

Aug 9 2019Eric Jackson Tournament Day- End of a great day on the water.. my Coosa HD took me to where the big fish are! I am so glad I am a kayaker!!! Covered some water today.. caught my fish in 3-12” of it.. watched two of my big fish eat my Strike King Pro Grade Swim Jig (bluegill color with green pumpkin rage menace trailer). Threw it on a Cashion elite M/h 7-2 rod and got the job done (putting the jig in their face) using my Pro-Ti reels by Lew’s. Going to try a Rage swimmer weightless tomorrow.. Also going to fish shallower.. & #128521; Stood up and sight fished all day.. scared most of the fish I saw all morning coming in too hot.. Gonna slow down on the approach tomorrow and speed up the retrieve. My big fish destroyed the jig.. there was no avoiding the onslaught of violence from these fish.. they are skinny and need a good meal.. I made them work for it. When I let them go they swam back to where they were.. hmmmm..
