In the 1700’s, Russian sailors sailing the Aleutian Islands gave this uniquely-shaped kayak the name , "Baidarka” meaning "small boat”. The lower portion of its up swept bow is extremely narrow, allowing clean entry lines, while the upper bow is fuller and wider, increasing buoyancy, causing the Baidarka to rise over the oncoming waves. Baidarkas are known for their unusually fast speed. With their Swede form shape and high volume stern they produce an incredibly high hull speed.

With rocker and a more symmetrical hull-shape this is a playful kayak. Hard chine, flat V-shape bottom with fine endings to bow and stern, it’s made to maneuver. Low profile and easy to roll. The Big Time is the most stable inflatable paddle board out there, big and stable, but still has the right rocker for maneuverability. Loves lakes, whitewater, dogs, fishing, and coolers, and is the best family inflatable SUP!

We weren’t going to make an inflatable board until we could be sure to solve all the problems of inflatable boards. And we’ve done just that. Starting with the Streetfighter for the amazing shape, we have built an inflatable that is every bit as rigid as a hard shell board. The Combat is in fact two boards in one. The main board has high sidewalls making it easy to paddle and the construction method allows us to put high pressure into the board so it’s stiff as can be. Then we’ve taken it a step further, adding a carbon/glass exoskeleton to the board. This means that no matter how hard you paddle, the board stays dead stiff, and that translates to a board which are both easier to paddle and handle, and more performing.

The Aries is ideal for smaller or lighter paddlers looking for a versatile, lightweight and stable kayak to explore the coast line, it will cater for the day paddler but those that weekend from their kayak will not be disappointed.
